Our medical services provide access to basic health care and support for people experiencing homelessness or hardship. Care is offered in a calm, respectful setting, with visiting medical professionals who understand the importance of dignity, trust and continuity. All staff are trained in first aid, and basic first aid support is always available on site.
Medical care at Emmanuel City Mission is designed to meet people where they’re at offering care, guidance and referrals when needed.
We’re grateful for the generous contribution of the dedicated medical professionals and organisations who visit regularly to provide care at Emmanuel City Mission. These services are provided at no charge to those experiencing homelessness and hardship.
A regular visiting GP from UQ Health Care providing consultations, advice and referrals with a compassionate, person-centred approach.
Available: Friday 8am - 1pm
The St Vincent’s Care Services team provide health support, assessments and referrals, helping connect people with ongoing care where needed.
Available: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 7am - 11am
The Kombi Clinic provides mobile health services, offering medical check-ups, support and referrals in an accessible and informal setting.
Available: First Thursday of the month
