JUST A MEAL

Our meal service offers a place to sit down, enjoy a meal and take a break from the day.

It’s open to people experiencing homelessness or hardship and is provided without judgement just good food, shared in a calm and welcoming environment.

Some people come for a quick meal. Others stay a little longer for conversation and connection. Everyone is welcome.

What’s on and when

Meals are served throughout the day during our opening hours, with space to sit down and eat in a welcoming environment.

Breakfast – from 7am
Breakfast is served in the morning and usually includes  bacon and eggs, cereal, toast, tea and barista-made coffee until 11am.

Tea & coffee – available all day
Tea and coffee and cereal are available throughout the  day.

Lunch – from 12pm
Lunch is served from midday and includes a hot meal.

Takeaways & seconds – from 12:30pm
From 12:30pm, takeaway meals and second servings are offered if available.

Meet the team

Our meals are prepared on site by our resident cook, Lucas, with the help of volunteers who give their time in the kitchen and serving meals.

Together, they create food that’s nourishing, generous and made with care. Much of the food we serve is made possible through the generosity of partners and supporters who donate ingredients and supplies.

Their support helps ensure there’s always something warm to share around the table.
