Our services.

As a ministry of Emmanuel Community, Emmanuel City Mission was established in 2009 to serve the vulnerable of Brisbane.

Originally named Blind Eye Ministries, the ministry was created as a volunteer, street-based outreach service and from 2014 a place-based sanctuary at 19 Merivale Street in South Brisbane.

We are open 7 days a week to serve our brothers and sisters. Monday to Friday from 7am to 3pm, Saturday and Sunday from 9am to 1pm.

Our mission is to feed, clothe and help the vulnerable in this city.

We believe Emmanuel City Mission is a place that can truly bring hope and healing to the lives of people who need it most.

Driven by the fire of the Holy Spirit, we believe that enacting faith with deeds for others inspires even greater generosity within and between communities; it is a virtuous circle. Together we can make a difference.

“For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me.” Matthew 25:35
